PRIVACY POLICY

No mobile nor any other personal information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

APPOINTMENT + CANCELLATION POLICY

❗️By booking your appointment with us, you are agreeing to our appointment policy, which is provided below:

❗️Appointments booked on this website are strictly for SOMERSET NAILS & SPA, located at 441 Elizabeth Ave in Somerset, NJ.

❗️Cancellations within twelve (12) hours prior to your scheduled appointment will be considered a LATE CANCELLATION, and will result in a charge equal to 50% of the full appointment value. Cancellations within two (2) hours of your scheduled appointment will be considered a VERY LATE CANCELLATION, and will result in a charge equal to 100% of the full appointment value. No-shows will result in a charge equal to 100% of the full appointment value. Leaving the salon upon arrival for any reason will be considered a LATE CANCELLATION, and will result in a charge equal to 100% of the full appointment value. If you have an emergency, it is your responsibility to make every effort to notify the salon before the cancellation period. You can do this by calling the salon directly, texting us, or emailing us. In emergency situations where a late cancellation or adjustment is required, the charge will be at the discretion of management.

You can notify us HERE or you can simply reply to the confirmation text message that is sent out. If you did not receive a text message, please use the link provided. As long as you notify us within the bounds of the policy, it will be considered proper and timely notification.

❗️Late cancellations / no-shows during holiday period(s) will result in a charge equal to 100% of the full appointment value without exception.

FOR LATE ARRIVALS, depending on your time of arrival, the length of your service may be reduced to accommodate your appointment and our following clients, or the service may be cancelled without refund. If you would like a full service, you are required to arrive on time.

❗️We reserve the right to change/cancel your appointment for any reason, but generally will be related to:

  1. Anyone with a nail condition we suspect may be contagious and/or may be unsafe to perform a service on;
  2. Anyone with open or infected wounds;
  3. Rude or disrespectful individuals. As important as it is for our staff to be respectful to all guests, we as well ask for your equal treatment.

❗️Guests with frequent no-shows will be blocked from the ability to schedule further appointments, and we may require non-refundable pre-payments for future service(s).

❗️Please be advised, an appointment guarantees your place over walk-ins, but this does not necessarily mean you will be taken immediately upon arrival. At times, there may be a wait. If you have time constraints, DO NOT book an appointment, or consider scheduling your appointment when you have more availability as we may run behind at times. Our salon works very hard to ensure a timely service for all of our valued guests, but there may be occasions where we run late.

PREGNANCY WELLNESS ADVISORY

This is a health consideration notice. For the safety and comfort of our guests, we recommend that individuals who are pregnant consult with their healthcare provider before visiting nail salons, as certain services may involve strong chemical odors that can be overwhelming or irritating during pregnancy. If you choose to visit our salon while pregnant, we strongly encourage bringing your own mask as we do not stock masks for guest use. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all.

AGE RESTRICTION

Minimum required age for any nail enhancement, gel polish, or dipping powder service is fourteen (14).

❗️ We are an ADULTS ONLY salon. INFANTS are not permitted for their safety.

Children accommodating parents to the salon must ALWAYS be on their best behavior or you will be asked to leave without exception. We need to be able to maintain a relaxing atmosphere for all of our valued guests.

DRESS CODE

To maintain a comfortable, respectful, and professional environment for all clients and staff, we request that all guests wear appropriate attire during their visit. Please avoid overly revealing clothing, including garments that expose undergarments or excessive skin. This helps ensure a welcoming atmosphere for everyone and aligns with the standards of professionalism we uphold in our salon.

REFUND

❗️ We do not provide refunds at our salon. If you are not completely satisfied with the service(s) you received, we will gladly make the necessary corrections by fixing the nail(s) or redoing the service(s) as long as you inform us within three (3) days of your service. Be advised, the following are not valid excuses:

Too busy to call...

You must do everything you can to notify us within our set parameters.

DEPOSITS

❗️ DEPOSITS will not be refunded, and can only be used towards services. A DEPOSIT is your agreement with the salon that you will be here for your requested service(s).

GUEST SATISFACTION

Customer satisfaction is of critical importance to us. If you are unhappy with your service, we ask that you let us know immediately.

NON-SALON PRODUCTS / IMPLEMENTS

We will not use outside implements nor products as we cannot guarantee product / implement hygiene nor quality. We take great care in utilizing clean implements and products in order to best serve our guests.

GIFT CARDS

GIFT CARDS are available for in-store purchase only. Gift cards are non-refundable. Gift cards that are lost will be forfeit as we may not be able to locate or track the purchase.

CELLULAR PHONE USE

Cellular phones must be silenced. Should you need to make an important phone call, we ask you to keep your voice to a personal level. Calls on speaker are prohibited. Loud volume is prohibited.

LOST OR DAMAGED PERSONAL ITEMS

We are not responsible for lost/damaged personal belongings. We use products that may seriously alter/damage your valuables, and therefore, we ask you to leave your valuables at home.
